Ethan Murrow Mural

Commissioned by Sun Valley Museum of Art, “The Engineer” is Ethan Murrow’s first outdoor mural—a surreal retelling of Idaho’s historic beaver drops, imagined through the eyes of a dreamer, builder, and community-minded tinkerer.

Filmed throughout the mural’s creation, this short documentary follows the evolution of the work—from initial sketches and projections to final brushstrokes—with reflections from the artist and museum team.
