Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s mission is to preserve the extraordinary music that evolved in New Orleans around the turn of the century and to bring that music to contemporary audiences. Individually, these musicians represent the industry’s elite, and collectively, they keep alive the traditions of this uniquely American sound. Known for their high energy, crowd-pleasing performances, Preservation Hall Jazz Band has been described by music critics as “the best jazz band in the land.” In Summer 2022, they led a musical march through the streets of Ketchum, Idaho.
